Straightforward extractions and more complex surgical removals are both offered, with clear aftercare guidance to support healing.

About this treatment

An extraction is the removal of a tooth when it can no longer be restored or kept safely — for example after extensive decay, a deep fracture, severe gum disease that has destroyed the supporting bone, or persistent infection. While the clinic's emphasis is on saving teeth wherever possible, there are times when removing a tooth is the healthiest option, and ArtiSmile carries out both simple extractions and more involved surgical removals.

The area is fully numbed using the clinic's computer-controlled local anaesthesia, which is designed to make the injection itself more comfortable, and a simple extraction is usually quick. Where a tooth is broken down or its roots are awkward, a surgical approach may be needed — the tooth is gently sectioned and removed in pieces (dłutowanie), which protects the surrounding bone.
