Thin porcelain shells bonded to the front of the teeth to improve their shape, colour and alignment. ArtisMed's porcelain veneers are made to mimic natural enamel's colour, translucency and the way it reflects light, and require only minimal removal of tooth surface. They suit discoloured, chipped, worn or slightly crooked front teeth and are planned tooth by tooth so the result stays in proportion with your smile and face.
About this treatment
Porcelain veneers are custom ceramic laminates, fractions of a millimetre thick, bonded to the visible surface of the front teeth to change their colour, shape, length or position. Because porcelain reproduces the translucency and light-reflecting quality of natural enamel, well-made veneers blend convincingly with the surrounding teeth. At ArtisMed treatment starts with a discussion of your goals and an assessment of the teeth and gums. A small amount of enamel is usually prepared to make room for the veneer and to give a natural emergence, impressions are taken, and the veneers are fabricated by a dental laboratory; temporary veneers can protect the teeth in the meantime.
