PRP Platelet-Rich Plasma (Vampire Facial)

Type

PRP/PRF Therapy

Duration

1 hour

What's included

4 deliverables in this treatment

  • Skin assessment
  • Blood draw and PRP preparation
  • PRP injection or microneedling delivery
  • Aftercare guidance

Platelet-rich plasma — the so-called vampire facial — uses a small sample of your own blood, spun to concentrate its platelets and growth factors, which is then delivered into the skin to stimulate regeneration. ArtisMed uses it to support collagen and elastin production, encourage fresh blood-vessel formation and revitalise skin quality and elasticity. Because it comes entirely from you, it is well tolerated, and a short course gives the most visible improvement.

About this treatment

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is a regenerative skin treatment that uses your own blood's healing components. A small sample is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets, which are rich in growth factors that signal tissue repair, collagen and elastin production and the formation of new microvessels. This concentrated plasma is then injected into the skin or worked in with microneedling to revitalise tone, texture and firmness…

At ArtisMed the process of blood draw, preparation and treatment takes around forty-five to sixty minutes, with numbing cream applied for comfort. Because the material is entirely your own, there is no risk of an allergic reaction to a foreign substance, which makes PRP a natural-feeling option for people who prefer to avoid synthetic products. Expect mild redness or the odd small bruise for a day or two. Results build gradually as collagen remodels over…
