Dermapen Microneedling

Dermapen microneedling creates controlled micro-channels in the skin to trigger natural collagen regeneration, softening wrinkles, refining enlarged pores and improving the look of scars and stretch marks. ArtisMed uses the powered Dermapen device for even, adjustable treatment across the face and body areas. Skin looks fresher within days and continues to improve over weeks, with a short course giving the strongest result for texture and scarring.

Microneedling with the Dermapen device uses a cluster of fine needles oscillating at high speed to create thousands of precise micro-channels in the skin. These tiny, controlled micro-injuries set off the body's natural wound-healing response, prompting fresh collagen and elastin production that firms the skin and refines its surface over the following weeks. The micro-channels also let active serums applied during treatment penetrate more effectively, and the powered device allows the needle depth to be adjusted for different areas and concerns. At ArtisMed the skin is cleansed and a numbing cream applied before treatment, which takes around thirty to forty-five minutes depending on the area. Expect redness similar to mild sunburn for 24–48 hours, after which the skin looks fresher and, over a few weeks, smoother and more even. Microneedling is well suited to uneven texture, fine lines, enlarged pores, and the appearance of acne scars and stretch marks, and can be used on the face as well as body areas. For best results — particularly with scarring or stretch marks — a course of around three sessions spaced a few weeks apart is recommended, with diligent sun protection afterwards. It combines well with mesotherapy or PRP for added benefit. Microneedling is avoided over active acne, infection or inflamed skin and during pregnancy; suitability is confirmed before treatment, and aftercare focuses on gentle skincare and daily SPF while the skin renews.
