PDO Thread Lift

Thread lifts at The Artisan Clinic use biocompatible polydioxanone (PDO) threads — the same material used in surgical sutures — to mechanically reposition sagging facial fat pads and skin. The procedure is minimally invasive, performed under local anaesthetic, and is often completed within an hour, earning it the 'lunchtime procedure' description.

During treatment, fine needles introduce the barbed or cogged threads through tiny entry points in the skin. The thread hooks immediately latch onto ptotic (descended) subcutaneous fat pads — particularly in the nasolabial fold and jowl regions — and physically lift them back to a more youthful position. The result is visible immediately: a defined jawline, elevated cheeks, and a V-shaped lower face contour.
