Lower Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)

Lower blepharoplasty at Arte Clinic corrects under-eye bags, loose skin, and fine wrinkling that create a permanently tired appearance. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia in about an hour using the Surgitron radiofrequency device, with the incision placed just under the lash line. Swelling settles from day three and sutures are removed on days 7–9. A V-incision mini-lift variant is also available for suitable candidates.

The lower eyelids age through a combination of weakening of the orbital septum (allowing fat to bulge forward as 'bags'), thinning and laxity of skin, and deepening of the tear trough. Lower blepharoplasty addresses these changes by removing or repositioning protruding fat and trimming excess skin through an incision concealed just below the lash line.
