General anaesthesia is available for patients who prefer it or who are having additional procedures simultaneously.
The incision is placed precisely in the natural upper eyelid crease — the line where the lid skin folds when the eye is open. Through this incision, the surgeon removes the planned amount of excess skin, and where orbital fat has prolapsed through the orbital septum (creating a puffy appearance), the fat is removed or repositioned.
