Augmentation mastopexy combines a breast lift with implant placement in one operation, addressing both sagging and volume loss simultaneously. Augmentation mastopexy is a technically demanding combined procedure that lifts the breast to a higher position on the chest wall and simultaneously increases volume with a silicone implant. The two goals are surgically interdependent: a lift alone does not add volume, and an implant alone does not correct significant drooping. Surgery takes approximately two hours under general anaesthesia with a one-night hospital stay at the MY CLINIC Dejvice surgical facility. The lift component reshapes the glandular tissue and repositions the areola and nipple complex to a higher, more projecting position. The implant is then placed in the pocket created beneath or above the pectoral muscle. The approach balances scar minimisation against lift effectiveness — a common tension the surgeon discusses honestly at consultation. Post-operative recovery mirrors that of standalone breast augmentation: intensive restriction for two to four weeks, light activity permitted from four weeks, full activity from two months. A compression garment is required throughout the initial recovery period. The final result stabilises over six months as swelling resolves and implant position settles.
