About this treatment

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is a regenerative skin treatment that uses your own blood's healing components. A small sample is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets, which are rich in growth factors associated with tissue repair and collagen production. This concentrated plasma is then injected into the skin to support improvements in tone, texture and firmness.

At Ars Estetica the process — blood draw, preparation and treatment — takes around forty-five to sixty minutes, with numbing cream applied for comfort, and the clinic uses the Regeneris preparation system.
