At Ars Estetica it is priced per zone, from small areas such as the upper lip or underarms up to the legs and larger regions. Because hair grows in cycles, a course of sessions spaced several weeks apart is needed; the doctor or therapist advises on the number based on your hair and skin.
About this treatment
Laser hair removal works by directing pulses of light at the melanin (pigment) in the hair, which is absorbed and converted to heat that disables the follicle's ability to produce new hair. Because hair grows in cycles and the laser is most effective on follicles in their active growth phase, a series of treatments is required to achieve a meaningful, lasting reduction across an area rather than a single session.
At Ars Estetica treatments are priced per zone, so a small area such as the upper lip, chin or underarms is quick and inexpensive, while larger areas such as the legs cost more and take longer. The sensation is often described as a quick flick or warmth with each pulse; cooling helps keep the treatment comfortable and protect the surrounding skin.
