About this treatment

Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing uses a carbon-dioxide laser to vaporise the skin in a grid of microscopic columns, leaving healthy tissue in between to speed recovery. This ablative fractional approach is associated with a more intensive renewal of the skin's surface and a robust collagen-remodelling response, making it a stronger option than non-ablative lasers for deeper lines, rough texture, acne and surgical scarring, and sun damage.

At Ars Estetica the skin is cleansed and numbed before treatment, which takes around thirty to forty-five minutes for the face.
