Specialised physiotherapy-grade lymphatic drainage massage for post-liposuction recovery, performed by Mgr. Aneta Arendarska — a qualified physiotherapist with rehabilitation training. The technique redirects post-surgical oedema from the interstitial space into the lymphatic system, supporting faster removal of bruising and swelling, smoothing fibrotic irregularities in the healing tissue, and reducing the risk of seroma formation. Treatment begins 7–10 days after surgery. Sessions are 45 minutes; the clinic recommends a minimum of 10 sessions at 3× per week frequency.

About this treatment

Post-liposuction lymphatic drainage massage at Arendarska Care is delivered by Mgr. Aneta Arendarska, whose physiotherapy education at the University of Health and Sport Sciences in Wrocław included rehabilitation techniques for post-surgical soft tissue, and who trained specifically in oedema management under Professor Ryszard Kocięba in the context of replantation and microsurgery recovery. Following liposuction, the disruption of local lymphatic vessels — combined with surgical trauma, fluid infiltration from the tumescent anaesthetic, and inflammatory response — produces oedema, bruising, and in some cases areas of firmness or contour irregularity. Without targeted lymphatic drainage, this fluid may organise into fibrous deposits (fibrosis) that compromise the final aesthetic result.

The massage protocol used at this clinic follows a structured sequence: 1. Light activation of the cervical, axillary, or inguinal lymph node basins (depending on the operated area) to create capacity for lymph flow. 2. Progressive manual strokes along the lymphatic pathways of the body surface, moving fluid from the oedematous zone toward the activated node basin. 3. Skin rolling and tissue mobilisation in areas where early fibrosis is detected,…
