Unlike single-acid consumer peels, the Renophase range includes multi-component formulations that target specific skin conditions, allowing the practitioner to move between superficial-to-medium-depth protocols without the unpredictability of higher-concentration single-acid applications. At the consultation, the practitioner assesses skin type (Fitzpatrick scale I–VI), identifies the primary concern (acne / post-inflammatory pigmentation / photo-ageing / texture / dullness), and selects the appropriate Renophase product and contact time. Superficial peels typically use low concentrations of alpha-hydroxy acids (glycolic, lactic, mandelic) or BHA (salicylic acid for acne-prone skin) — these produce mild exfoliation and skin brightening with 1–3 days of mild flaking.
