Hormone & Thyroid Blood Panel

Thyroid function testing is among the most commonly requested panels and includes thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), free thyroxine (fT4), and free triiodothyronine (fT3). These markers allow the diagnosis of hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, subclinical thyroid dysfunction, and autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's thyroiditis or Graves' disease). Thyroid antibody testing (anti-TPO, anti-TG) can be added when autoimmune aetiology is suspected.

For patients presenting with fatigue, weight changes, mood disturbances, or reproductive concerns, broader endocrine panels can be arranged. These may include cortisol and ACTH measurements to assess adrenal function, sex hormone panels (LH, FSH, testosterone, oestradiol, SHBG, prolactin) relevant to fertility, PCOS, or menopause, and growth hormone-related testing.
