FaceTite minimally-invasive radio-frequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL) at ARC Plastic Surgery Miami, using a dual-probe device with internal and external electrodes to simultaneously liquefy fat and tighten overlying skin with controlled radiofrequency heating. Recovery is 24–48 hours. Results last 5+ years. Used on face, neck, jawline, and jowls as an intermediate option between non-surgical treatments and a full facelift.
FaceTite at ARC Plastic Surgery in Aventura, Miami is a minimally-invasive body contouring and skin tightening procedure using InMode's radio-frequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL) technology — a step above non-invasive surface treatments but substantially less invasive than a surgical facelift. The FaceTite device works through a dual-electrode mechanism: a small probe the diameter of a 2mm cannula is inserted through a tiny skin puncture into the subdermal fat layer, while a complementary external electrode is placed on the skin surface in the same treatment area. Bipolar radiofrequency energy passes between the internal probe and the external electrode, heating the tissue in between — the subcutaneous fat layer and the overlying dermis — to controlled therapeutic temperatures. The internal probe heat (approximately 70°C) causes thermal disruption of fat cell membranes (lipolysis), liquidating the fat for aspiration or resorption; simultaneously, the dermal temperature (approximately 42–45°C at the external electrode) induces collagen contraction and neocollagenesis in the dermis, producing immediate and longer-term skin tightening. Temperature monitoring via the device's thermal sensors allows the physician to maintain therapeutic zones without exceeding safety thresholds that would cause thermal injury. FaceTite is used at ARC for facial and neck zones where some degree of submental fat, jowl fat, or lower face laxity is present but the patient is not ready for or not indicated for a surgical facelift — either because the degree of correction required is modest, the patient's downtime tolerance limits a surgical approach, or the patient is younger and the extent of change achievable without surgery is sufficient. The dual-probe approach provides a combined lipolysis-and-tightening outcome in a single treatment session, with 24–48 hours of recovery (swelling and minor bruising), after which patients can resume normal activities. Published outcomes for RFAL with FaceTite document results lasting 5+ years. Consultation required for assessment and pricing.
