Nipple & Areola Dermapigmentation

Nipple and areola dermapigmentation at AR aesthetics recreates or restores the colour, shape, and three-dimensional appearance of the nipple-areola complex using non-invasive permanent pigmentation. Custom pigments are matched to the surrounding skin tone and layered using a technique that produces a realistic 3D shading effect. The service is offered to post-mastectomy patients (free of charge) and for post-augmentation, reduction, or lift cases where the areola colour has been affected; for gender-affirming top surgery patients; for post-pregnancy or nursing changes; and for congenital asymmetries or aesthetic enhancement. The full process takes 1–3 appointments over 1–3 months. Corrections within the first 1–3 months are priced at 50% of the initial session.

The nipple-areola complex (NAC) plays a disproportionately large role in the visual and psychological outcome of breast surgery. After mastectomy and reconstruction — even technically successful procedures — the absence of a natural-looking areola can make it difficult for patients to feel that the reconstruction is complete. Nipple-areola dermapigmentation is a non-surgical technique that addresses this gap. At AR aesthetics, the procedure uses specialised pigments and shading technique to reproduce the appearance of the areola and nipple in three dimensions. Because the areola has colour gradation — darker at the centre, lighter at the border — the pigment is built up in layers of varying tone and saturation rather than applied as a flat colour. The 3D shading creates visual depth and projection that reads as a real areola under normal clothing and lighting conditions. The pigment selection process is critical. Skin tone across the chest and the specific tissue quality of the reconstructed breast (which may be abdominal or back tissue transposed to the chest, or an implant-only reconstruction) affect how pigment will appear when healed. Alesia Rybak performs a thorough skin assessment in natural lighting and mixes the pigment formula to complement the individual's complexion rather than applying a standard colour. Topical anaesthetic is applied before the procedure. The technique works for both unilateral (single areola) and bilateral (both areolas) cases, with bilateral work discounted to 11,500 Kč. Post-mastectomy reconstruction is offered free of charge as a service to women undergoing breast cancer treatment — a commitment that reflects the studio's values. Beyond post-mastectomy work, the same technique is available for: colour correction after breast augmentation, reduction, or lift (surgeries that can alter areola pigmentation); gender-affirming top surgery patients who wish to add or restore pigmentation; post-pregnancy or nursing-related changes to areola colour or symmetry; congenital colour asymmetries; and elective aesthetic enhancement for clients satisfied with their breast shape but wanting more defined pigmentation. The full treatment course takes 1–3 appointments over 1–3 months, with corrections needed to build optimal density and refine symmetry. Contraindications (absolute): blood clotting disorders or haemophilia, fever or active systemic infection at time of appointment, active malignancy (except post-mastectomy cases where oncology team has cleared the skin for cosmetic work), HIV/AIDS, epilepsy, active chemotherapy or radiotherapy, psychiatric conditions affecting ability to consent and cooperate, first-trimester pregnancy.
