General Skin Treatment

Carboxytherapy delivers small, controlled amounts of medical carbon dioxide just beneath the skin to improve microcirculation, skin tone and texture. It is used on the face and eye area to freshen tired skin, and on the body for areas such as a double chin or cellulite-prone zones. Best results come from a short course, and the clinic offers discounted packages of four, eight or ten sessions.

Carboxytherapy is a treatment in which a small, controlled amount of medical-grade carbon dioxide gas is introduced just under the surface of the skin through a very fine needle. The body responds to the localised carbon dioxide by increasing blood flow to the area, which is thought to improve oxygen delivery, microcirculation and the overall condition of the skin and underlying tissue. On the face it is used to brighten and freshen tired, dull skin and to help the delicate under-eye area; on the body it is applied to areas such as a double chin, the abdomen, thighs and other cellulite-prone zones. At Klinika Anna Pikura a facial session is quick — around fifteen to thirty minutes — and you may feel a brief tingling or pressure as the gas disperses, with temporary redness and a mild crackling sensation under the skin that settles soon afterwards. There is little downtime. Because the benefit accumulates, carboxytherapy is delivered as a course, and the clinic prices discounted packages of four, eight or ten sessions for each area alongside single treatments. It pairs well with other skin treatments as part of a wider plan. Carboxytherapy suits adults wanting to improve skin tone, freshen the eye area or support body-contouring efforts; suitability and any contraindications are reviewed beforehand.
