Profhilo is the original skin 'bioremodelling' injectable — one of the highest concentrations of pure, non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid on the market (64 mg in 2 ml). Injected at five standardised points per side of the face, it spreads through the tissue like honey rather than sitting as volume, intensely hydrating the skin and stimulating four types of collagen and elastin. The result over the standard two-session protocol is firmer, denser, glowing skin and a subtle tightening of early laxity — without changing face shape. AMEM also offers Profhilo Structura, a cannula-applied version that restores the superficial fat layer for cheek and lower-face support ('lipolifting'). About this treatment
Profhilo (IBSA) created the 'bioremodelling' category: it is neither a filler nor classic mesotherapy, but an ultrapure thermally stabilised hyaluronic acid that disperses horizontally through the skin layers, acting as a slow-release reservoir that both hydrates and biologically activates the tissue.
How it differs from fillers
Crosslinked fillers are gels engineered to hold shape and add volume in a specific spot. Profhilo is non-crosslinked — it flows and integrates across the treatment zone within 24 hours, so it cannot create lumps or change facial contours. Its job is biological: studies show stimulation of collagen types I and III plus elastin, improved skin elasticity and dermal thickness over the weeks following treatment.

Preparation required
Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning supplements 24–48 hours before to limit bruising. Arrive without makeup if possible. Expect small raised points at injection sites for up to a day. Plan the second session one month after the first for the full protocol.
