An initial orthodontic consultation at Ambicare includes a full clinical examination of the teeth, bite, and jaw, review of existing dental X-rays (or ordering of new imaging if required), assessment of suitability for Invisalign or fixed braces, and a personalised treatment plan with cost estimate. The consultation is performed by a certified orthodontist.

Before starting any orthodontic treatment — whether Invisalign, fixed braces, or retainer therapy — an initial consultation with an orthodontist is essential to assess the specific clinical situation and design an appropriate treatment plan. **What the consultation covers:** - Clinical examination of occlusion (bite), spacing, crowding, and tooth alignment - Assessment of jaw relationship and facial profile considerations - Review of existing dental X-rays or panoramic OPG — or ordering of new imaging if needed - Evaluation of suitability for Invisalign vs. fixed appliances based on case complexity - Detailed explanation of the proposed treatment sequence, expected duration, and estimated total cost - Discussion of insurance coverage (applicable to under-22s only since 2022) - Opportunity to ask questions and receive honest guidance on expectations The consultation fee (1,550–2,500 Kč) may be credited toward the cost of treatment if the patient proceeds.
