HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound) is the leading non-surgical option for skin lifting because it is the only energy modality that reaches the SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system) — the fibromuscular layer that plastic surgeons reposition during a facelift. The device focuses ultrasound energy into precise coagulation points at set depths (typically 4.5 mm for SMAS, 3 mm for deep dermis), causing immediate tissue contraction and a months-long collagen-building response, with effects that may include brow elevation, jawline definition and softening of the double chin. Altos Klinika uses the Ulthera UTIMS platform with a transparent zone-based price list. Small targeted zones — forehead, brow lift / foxy eyes, eyelid area, cheeks, nasolabial folds, smoker's lines around the mouth, or double chin — cost 12,250 Kč each. Larger regions (the upper, middle or lower third of the face, the submandibular area, neck, or décolleté) are 24,750 Kč. A single session is standard, with results developing over 2–6 months and typically lasting a year or more.
