Comprehensive one-day screening combining cardiac prevention assessment with whole-body MRI tumour screening. The cardiac component includes resting ECG, stress ECG, echocardiography, blood work, and lung function testing. The whole-body MRI covers all major organ systems using 3-Tesla imaging. Results are reviewed and discussed in a same-day physician consultation.

The ALTA Check-up is the clinic's foundational preventive screening programme, designed to deliver both cardiovascular risk assessment and whole-body cancer screening in a single visit of approximately four hours. The programme integrates two distinct diagnostic domains that are typically handled by separate specialists on separate days. The cardiac prevention module begins with a resting ECG to assess heart rhythm and electrical conduction, followed by an exercise stress test on a bicycle ergometer that monitors heart rate response, blood pressure dynamics, and ECG changes under exertion. Echocardiography provides real-time ultrasound imaging of heart chamber dimensions, valve function, and ejection fraction. These cardiac assessments are complemented by spirometry lung function testing and a comprehensive blood panel covering metabolic markers, lipids, and organ function. The imaging component is a whole-body MRI scan on ALTA's 3-Tesla Siemens MAGNETOM Skyra, covering the brain, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and major joints. The 3-Tesla field strength enables tissue contrast that can detect lesions at an earlier stage than lower-field scanners, while producing zero ionising radiation. All findings from both the cardiac and imaging modules are synthesised into a single integrated report. A physician consultation on the same day reviews all results and develops personalised recommendations. This integrated approach is particularly valuable because cardiovascular findings and imaging findings can inform each other — for example, an echocardiographic abnormality may prompt closer attention to cardiac MRI sequences.
