AKI Centrum

AKI Centrum (legal entity AKI, spol. s r.o.) is a Brno medical centre established in April 1994, combining allergology, clinical immunology, reproductive immunology, internal medicine, rheumatology, ENT and rehabilitation with its own accredited laboratory and the Lékárna Alerga pharmacy. The laboratory is the part most relevant to self-paying and international visitors: it runs allergological, immunological and biochemical diagnostics and accepts both physician-referred patients and self-payers (samoplátci). Blood and urine sampling is done on site at the Brno-Štýřice premises on Vinohrady, payment is in cash on the day of collection, and results are released within five working days. The lab holds ČSN EN ISO 15189 accreditation, the clinic carries MZ ČR accreditation for physician training and an ISO 9001 quality certificate, and the team is led by laboratory head RNDr. Radomír Pilný, MBA, allergology head and clinic director prim. MUDr. Eva Ohnútková, and immunology head prim. MUDr. Pavel Kuklínek, CSc. Most-requested self-pay tests include AMH fertility testing, specific IgE allergy panels, autoantibody and celiac screens, thyroid markers and SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibodies. The centre holds contracts with all Czech public health insurers; its self-pay laboratory price list is supplied on request by phone, with one published self-pay price for the SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibody test.
