The Siemens Vida 3T scanner at Radiologie Hirslanden provides exceptional soft-tissue contrast, enabling detection of structural abnormalities at early stages when intervention is most effective. No contrast dye is injected, no fasting is required, and the scan delivers zero ionising radiation, making it suitable for annual repetition without cumulative exposure concerns. The imaging protocol covers the brain, cervical and thoracic spine, lungs, heart, liver, kidneys, spleen, pancreas, gallbladder, adrenal glands, pelvis, and proximal musculoskeletal structures. Ahead Health reports that 25 percent of clients discover a previously unknown medical finding through this scan. The wide 70-centimetre bore accommodates patients up to 200 kilograms, and the scan experience is designed around patient comfort with noise-cancelling headphones and a choice of music or video content.
