About
Agram Hospital (Specijalna bolnica AGRAM) has been the benchmark for private healthcare in Croatia since it opened in 1998 with a commitment to early diagnosis, medical excellence, and an interdisciplinary approach. The Zagreb facility at Trnjanska cesta 108 is the network's principal hospital site — ranked among the 100 best-equipped polyclinics in the world — serving over one million patients per year across seven Croatian polyclinics and one in Sarajevo.
The radiology and imaging department at Zagreb is built around a Siemens SOMATOM Force, a third-generation dual-source CT acquired in late 2017. The Force is capable of imaging the entire heart in a single heartbeat with a fraction of the radiation dose of earlier scanners, making it ideal for coronary artery imaging in symptomatic and asymptomatic patients alike. Complementing the CT is a 3 Tesla Siemens MAGNETOM Lumina with BioMatrix AI and a 1.5T Magnetom Symphony for MRI.
Agram was the first private hospital in Croatia to introduce MSCT coronarography as a non-invasive diagnostic method for cardiovascular disease. With more than 6,000 coronarography examinations performed, the department holds the largest single-centre experience in the region for this procedure. The service spans the full cardiac CT spectrum: coronary CT angiography, coronary calcium scoring, CT lung screening, CT aorta, and general MSCT of all body regions.
Once-day cardiovascular interventions and general surgery have been available since November 2018, adding therapeutic capability to the diagnostic infrastructure. The hospital's 174 permanently employed clinical staff include 53 specialist and subspecialist physicians who pursue continuous education in Croatia and abroad. Patients are received without long waits and with an individual care approach that the network has built its reputation on over 26 years.
