The two-section spine package allows patients to combine any two of the three spinal segments — cervical and thoracic, cervical and lumbar, or thoracic and lumbar — into a single visit at 13,800 CZK, compared to 17,600 CZK if booked as two separate single-section scans. This represents a meaningful saving for patients with multilevel symptoms or conditions that affect more than one spinal region. The examination is particularly valuable for patients with multilevel radiculopathy, suspected inflammatory spondyloarthropathy (which commonly affects multiple segments), scoliosis evaluation, post-traumatic assessment of adjacent regions, and screening for spinal metastases. Each segment receives its full dedicated imaging protocol, and the radiologist interprets both regions as an integrated study, identifying relationships between levels that might be missed when segments are imaged separately — such as compensatory degeneration in the cervical spine driven by thoracolumbar pathology. Total scan time depends on the segments selected but typically ranges from 40 to 50 minutes. Patients should plan for approximately 60 minutes in the facility including preparation and positioning adjustments between segments.
