The native brain MRI at Affidea Hungary produces multi-planar images of the entire intracranial compartment using T1-weighted, T2-weighted, FLAIR, and diffusion-weighted sequences. The examination covers the cerebral hemispheres, basal ganglia, thalami, brainstem, cerebellum, and posterior fossa without the need for intravenous contrast. The study is suited for initial evaluation of headaches, seizures, cognitive decline, and neurological symptoms where a structural cause needs exclusion. FLAIR sequences provide high sensitivity for periventricular lesions associated with multiple sclerosis and small vessel ischaemic disease.
