Lip augmentation at AESTHGERY Plzeň enhances lip volume by injecting hyaluronic acid, producing a fuller, naturally shaped lip that harmonises with the rest of the face. The treatment is performed by plastic surgeon MUDr. Kamila Šormová on an outpatient basis under local anaesthesia. The result lasts approximately 12–15 months before the hyaluronic acid is gradually metabolised. Mild swelling can persist for one to seven days after treatment, after which the final shape is visible. Performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon rather than a beautician, the emphasis is on proportion and a natural result.

Hyaluronic acid lip augmentation is the standard non-surgical method for restoring or enhancing lip volume — but the outcome depends heavily on who holds the needle. At AESTHGERY the injections are performed by MUDr. Kamila Šormová, a plastic surgeon with more than three decades of surgical experience of facial anatomy, which matters for both safety (the lips and perioral area are vascular) and aesthetics.
How it works
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring molecule that binds water; injected as a smooth gel filler into the lip body and border, it adds volume, defines the vermilion edge, and can correct asymmetry between upper and lower lip. Local anaesthesia makes the treatment comfortable. The session is outpatient and takes well under an hour.

Preparation required
Avoid blood-thinning medication and alcohol before treatment to reduce bruising. Do not plan the treatment immediately before an important event — allow up to a week for swelling to settle. Avoid sauna, sun, and intense exercise for the first days afterwards.
