Upper, lower, or combined eyelid surgery performed by plastic surgeon MUDr. Kamila Šormová at her Plzeň clinic. Excess skin and protruding fat pads around the eyelids are removed through incisions hidden in the natural lid creases, refreshing the gaze and giving the face a rested appearance. The procedure is done under analgosedation combined with local anaesthesia. Upper or lower lids alone are outpatient — you go home the same day; combined upper and lower lid surgery involves a one-night stay at the clinic. Most patients are women and men from around 35, when eyelid skin descent becomes more pronounced. Recovery takes approximately two weeks, after which scars heal to be practically invisible.

Technique
Incisions are placed in the natural folds of the eyelids — in the upper lid crease for upper blepharoplasty and just below the lash line for lower lids — so that healed scars are practically invisible.
