PRP/PRF Therapy

Duration

Platelet-rich plasma uses a small sample of your own blood, spun to concentrate its platelets and growth factors, which is then injected to stimulate skin repair and rejuvenation — the so-called vampire lifting. The clinic also offers iPRF, a fibrin-rich preparation that releases growth factors more slowly. Because it is derived entirely from you it is well tolerated and a natural option for improving skin quality.

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is a regenerative skin treatment that harnesses your own blood's healing components. A small sample is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets, which are rich in growth factors that signal tissue repair and collagen production. This concentrated plasma is then injected into the skin to rejuvenate tone, texture and firmness — a treatment popularly known as the vampire lift. The clinic also offers iPRF (injectable platelet-rich fibrin), prepared with a gentler spin so it forms a fibrin scaffold that releases growth factors more gradually, and a combined plasma-plus-fibrin option. At Ästhetische Medizin Stettin the process — blood draw, preparation and treatment — takes around forty-five to sixty minutes, with anaesthetic provided for comfort at no extra cost. Because the material is entirely your own, there is no risk of allergy to a foreign substance, which makes PRP and PRF popular with patients who prefer a natural approach. Expect mild redness or small bruises for a day or two. Results build gradually as collagen remodels over several weeks, so a course of around three sessions a few weeks apart is recommended, with maintenance once or twice a year. The treatment is well suited to dull or tired skin, fine lines and overall skin quality, and can be combined with mesotherapy or microneedling for a stronger effect. Suitability is assessed beforehand; it is not performed in pregnancy or in certain blood or clotting conditions.
