Laser energy targets the melanin in the hair follicle's bulge and bulb, thermally disrupting the follicle's growth cycle while leaving surrounding skin intact. Multiple sessions spaced four to six weeks apart are required to capture follicles across their growth cycle stages and achieve lasting reduction. Treated areas include the face and upper lip, underarms, bikini and Brazilian, legs, back, chest, and arms.
