The VITAL Longevity Screen is Advantage Medical Group's flagship preventive health programme, designed to identify the upstream drivers of chronic disease and ageing before clinical symptoms develop. Structured around five longevity pillars, the screen delivers a comprehensive picture of biological health that goes far beyond what standard GP check-ups capture. The Vascular Health pillar includes ApoB, Lp(a), advanced lipid fractions, hsCRP, HbA1c, and HOMA-IR — markers that predict cardiovascular risk with far greater accuracy than a standard cholesterol test. The Inflammation pillar measures hsCRP, hsTroponin I, ESR, ferritin, homocysteine, and uric acid to detect chronic low-grade inflammation. The Training and Physical Function pillar performs a VO2 max treadmill test to measure cardiorespiratory fitness — one of the strongest predictors of longevity — alongside a DEXA body composition scan, grip strength measurement, and a 30-second sit-to-stand test for functional mobility. The Ageing and Hormonal Health pillar assesses sex hormones, adrenal hormones, IGF-1, cortisol, and comprehensive tumour marker panels.
