Children's Dentistry

Children's dentistry at Adent is designed around making early dental visits calm and positive, so that children build a good relationship with the dentist from the start. For an anxious or first-time child, an adaptation visit lets them sit in the chair, meet the dentist and become familiar with the surroundings without any treatment being carried out — an approach associated with less dental anxiety later on.

When treatment is needed, the practice provides child-appropriate care including fillings in milk (baby) teeth to manage decay and keep the tooth comfortable and functional until it is naturally lost. Fissure sealing is offered as a preventive measure: the deep grooves on the chewing surfaces of back teeth are sealed with a protective coating that makes them easier to keep clean and helps reduce the chance of decay taking hold in these vulnerable spots.…
