Rhinoplasty

Dr. Adam Schaffner performs aesthetic, revisional, and reconstructive rhinoplasty from his Midtown Manhattan practice, using both open and closed technique depending on the complexity of the case and patient anatomy. Aesthetic rhinoplasty addresses concerns including disproportionate nose size, a prominent dorsal hump, a wide or bulbous tip, and nasal asymmetry. Revisional rhinoplasty corrects unsatisfactory results from prior nasal surgery. Reconstructive cases may address a deviated septum or compromised airway, and may be partially covered by insurance where functional impairment is documented. Procedures are performed under general anaesthesia and typically last approximately two hours.
