Aaron Laser's fractional CO2 resurfacing is performed with the COSCAN fractional CO2 laser system, which delivers energy through an adjustable-density scanning head. Rather than ablating the entire skin surface in one pass, COSCAN treats a regular grid of micro-columns — typically between 15 and 35 per cent of the surface area — while the surrounding untreated tissue accelerates healing and reduces recovery time compared with fully ablative CO2 resurfacing. The procedure begins with a physician consultation to map the treatment zones and discuss realistic outcomes. The skin is then cleansed and topical anaesthetic cream is applied and left to take effect before the laser session begins. The session itself takes a maximum of 30 minutes for a single area such as the full face. During treatment you will feel a warming sensation; the treated dots are visible immediately as small, pin-point marks. Within the following week the superficial micro-columns dry and detach as dead skin cells shed naturally — a process that is accelerated with gentle cleansing. Collagen remodelling continues deep in the dermis for up to six months after a single session, and published studies document maintained improvement for approximately two years. The most common indications at this clinic are periorbital, cheek, lip and forehead wrinkles; neck and décolletage laxity; age spots and sun-damage pigmentation; post-acne atrophic scars; and hand rejuvenation.
