Dermapen microneedling at Aaron Laser uses an electronic pen fitted with a disposable, sterile needle cartridge to create thousands of micro-channels in the skin at a controlled depth of 0.25–2.5 mm. These micro-injuries — too small to damage surrounding tissue — trigger the skin's collagen and elastin repair response. Active serums such as hyaluronic acid, blood plasma or vitamin complexes are applied during the session and absorbed up to 80 per cent more deeply through the open channels than standard topical application allows. Results become visible after the first session and continue improving for up to six months after the full course, as collagen remodelling progresses. Acne scars, stretch marks, fine lines, pore refinement and general skin elasticity are the primary indications.

The device uses a motorised cartridge with multiple ultra-fine needles that oscillate at high frequency, creating a series of micro-perforations in a precise pattern without the pressure or drag associated with manual rollers.
