Type
MRI Scan
Duration
20 min
3T MRI of a single shoulder covering rotator cuff, glenoid labrum, biceps tendon, and glenohumeral joint. Priced as a single-joint examination.
The shoulder MRI at Sagena uses the 3T MAGNETOM Vida to resolve the fine anatomy of the rotator cuff tendons, glenoid labrum, and long head of the biceps tendon. The 70cm bore diameter accommodates patients comfortably for shoulder positioning, and the Deep Resolve AI reconstruction provides enhanced detail of tendon fibres and labral morphology. The radiologist reports on each rotator cuff tendon individually — supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, and subscapularis — grading any tendinopathy or tears. The labrum is assessed for SLAP and Bankart lesions, and the subacromial space, acromioclavicular joint, and bicipital groove are documented. Priced at CZK 6,000 as a single-joint scan. The examination can be combined with another joint (e.g. contralateral shoulder or an elbow) in the two-joint package at CZK 10,000.
