Advanced brain imaging with AI-powered analysis for cognitive health.
A brain MRI uses powerful magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the brain and surrounding structures. Unlike CT scans, MRI does not use ionizing radiation and provides superior soft-tissue contrast, making it the preferred imaging modality for evaluating the brain. The scan captures images in multiple planes — axial, sagittal, and coronal — and can include specialized sequences such as diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI), fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR), and gradient echo sequences. These different sequences highlight various tissue characteristics and can reveal subtle changes in brain structure that other imaging methods may miss. A typical brain MRI takes 30–60 minutes, during which you lie still inside the scanner while it captures hundreds of image slices.
Key Details
- Scan Duration
- 30–60 minutes
- Radiation
- None (MRI uses magnetic fields)
- Contrast
- With or without gadolinium contrast

Who Is This For?
Anyone experiencing persistent headaches, dizziness, visual disturbances, or changes in memory or concentration. People with a family history of neurological conditions seeking baseline imaging. Individuals who have experienced head trauma and want detailed follow-up evaluation. Those undergoing routine longevity screening who want a comprehensive view of brain health and structure.
What's Included
Preparation Required
Remove all metal objects including jewelry, watches, belts, and hair clips before the scan. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing without metal fasteners — you may be asked to change into a hospital gown. Inform the facility in advance if you have any implants, pacemakers, aneurysm clips, or metal fragments in your body. Arrive 15–20 minutes early to complete a safety screening questionnaire. If contrast dye is required, you may be asked to fast for 4 hours beforehand. Inform your technologist if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have kidney concerns.
