PRP Vampire Lift (Face)

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy — marketed as the vampire lift due to its use of the patient's own blood — is a regenerative treatment that concentrates the body's naturally occurring growth factors and delivers them precisely where tissue regeneration is desired. At BellaDerma, the facial PRP protocol begins with a small blood draw (typically 10–15ml), which is then processed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich fraction from red blood cells and platelet-poor plasma. The resulting PRP contains concentrations of platelets 3–5 times higher than whole blood, along with an abundance of growth factors including PDGF (platelet-derived growth factor), TGF-β (transforming growth factor beta), VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor), and IGF-1 (insulin-like growth factor 1). When re-injected into the facial skin and subcutaneous tissue, these growth factors stimulate fibroblast proliferation, collagen synthesis, and neovascularisation — the biological processes underlying skin renewal. The injection is performed across the face with a fine needle using a serial puncture or linear threading technique, targeting areas of concern such as under-eye hollows, nasolabial folds, cheeks, and the overall facial skin quality. Because PRP is autologous (derived from the patient's own blood), there is no risk of allergic reaction or rejection — a significant advantage over synthetic fillers. Results build gradually over 4–8 weeks as the collagen remodelling cascade progresses.
