Hydrafacial is a patented vortex-fusion system that delivers four treatment steps — cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and serum infusion — through a single handheld device without the downtime associated with chemical peels or lasers. At BellaDerma, the Premium protocol extends the standard treatment with additional boosters tailored to the client's specific skin concerns. The first stage cleanses and opens pores with a mild glycolic and salicylic acid solution while simultaneously removing debris through suction. The second stage uses a patented spiral-tip applicator to mechanically exfoliate the epidermis, producing a more uniform result than manual exfoliation. The extraction phase applies a combination of salicylic acid solution and suction to remove blackheads, sebum plugs, and impurities from pores without manual squeezing — the device collects extracted material visibly in its cup, which is a characteristic feature clients often find satisfying. The final infusion step delivers proprietary Vortex-Boost serums — including antioxidants (vitamins C and E), peptides, and hyaluronic acid — deep into the skin via the same vortex mechanism.
