Intradermal microinjection of a customised cocktail — hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids, and minerals — to deeply hydrate the skin, improve texture and radiance, and support collagen synthesis at the dermal level.
Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive skin treatment technique developed in France in the 1950s, in which small volumes of active compounds are delivered directly into the mesoderm — the middle layer of the skin, corresponding to the mid-to-deep dermis. At Aesthetic Club Berlin, the facial mesotherapy protocol uses a customised cocktail tailored to the patient's skin condition, typically combining non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid (for hydration), vitamins (primarily vitamin C and B-complex), amino acids (the building blocks of collagen and elastin), minerals (including zinc and silicon), and coenzymes that support cellular metabolism. By injecting these compounds directly into the dermis using a fine-gauge needle or a mesotherapy device with multiple micro-needles, the treatment bypasses the stratum corneum barrier that limits topical absorption, delivering active ingredients at concentrations far higher than any cream or serum can achieve at the target tissue depth. Hyaluronic acid in the dermis directly increases local water retention and provides an immediate plumping and hydrating effect. Vitamins and amino acids provide substrate for fibroblast collagen synthesis. Antioxidant components neutralise reactive oxygen species that contribute to photoaging and cellular senescence. The microinjections also create a mild controlled injury response — platelet aggregation, growth factor release, and fibroblast recruitment — that independently stimulates collagen production beyond what the injected actives achieve alone. This dual mechanism (direct nutrient delivery plus mechanical stimulation) makes mesotherapy an effective treatment for dull, dehydrated, prematurely aged, or environmentally stressed skin. At Aesthetic Club Berlin, a mesotherapy session takes approximately 30 minutes. Mild redness and pinpoint marks resolve within a few hours. A series of four to six sessions at fortnightly intervals is typically recommended to achieve and sustain the desired improvement in skin luminosity, hydration, and firmness.
