Measures IgE antibodies to six seafood allergens to help determine seafood allergy.
Additional Information
This test measures immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies produced in the blood in response to certain seafood allergens. This panel measures immune responses to codfish, crab, lobster, salmon, shrimp, and tuna. A positive result indicates the presence of IgE antibodies, but doesn't confirm a diagnosis. Follow up with your healthcare provider for diagnosis and treatment. They will consider your medical history, symptoms, and other test results.
